Take a Deep Breath
We come from nature and yet with live in a world that often removes our connection to it. Taking mindfulness outdoors is a natural way to reconnect with our roots and nature in general. For example “shinrin-yoku” or forest bathing is a way to practice being mindful in a natural environment, slowing down and benefiting from the immune system of the trees, in turn benefiting our health and well-being. Other mindful activities can include mindful walking to tap in our senses or creating art inspired by nature. These activities do not require you to walk long distances but rather to learn to be at one with our natural environment.
